Enslaved Persons Named: Sukey, Doctor, Andrew, Sue, Phebe, Harry, George, Rosan, George, Monday, Delia, Jack

On December 23, 1824, James Holmes, Liberty County, sold to James Anderson & Company, of Savannah, Chatham County, for $2950 “twelve negroes, named as follows: a wench named Sukey, a boy Doctor, Andrew a carpenter, his wife Sue, and daughter Phebe [alt: Phoebe], a boy Harry, fellow George, his wife Rosan [alt: Rosanne], and their child George; fellow Monday, wench Delia, and Little Jack her brother.” Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on February 7, 1825.
