On Mary 14, 1841, Raymond Harris, physician, Bryan County, used as collateral to secure a loan from the Bank of the State of Georgia that Noble A. Hardee, factor, Savannah, Chatham County had acted as security for: “the following named negro slaves, to wit, Lymas, Phoebe [alt: Phebe], Davy, Peter, Moses, Trim, Fileo, Aaron, Lizette, Ceaser [alt: Caesar], Cinder, Mary, Sully, Jackson, Anna, Elle, Betty, Joe, Rose, Sina and Beck.” Witnessed by Joseph W. Jackson. Recorded in Bryan County Superior Court on July 6, 1841.
