On March 27, 1834, William H. Vanbrackel, Bryan County, sold to A.M. Sanford for $500 “a negro man Slave named Sci [or Sei] about twenty four years of age.” Witnessed by James Butler. Recorded in Bryan County Superior Court on May 1, 1835.
