Georgia, Bryan County } Know all men by these presents that I John Harn of the County aforesaid, guardian of James Dolly a free person of colour for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and eighty dollars to me in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have bargained sold and conveyed and do hereby bargain sell and convey to Richard J. Arnold of said County his heirs and assigns all that tract of land containing two hundred and forty five acres more or less situate lying and being in the County aforesaid, on the South side of Ogechee River the boundaries of which tract of land is more particularly described by the plat hereto annexted, and which is hereby incorporated in this deed, the same being a part of a two hundred & sixty three acre tract old survey and which was originally granted to John Waldron, by Warrant 3rd August 1789 & surveyed 2nd March 1790 the other part formerly owned by Benjamin James (the said tract hereby conveyed having been purchased by James Dolly from William Dickerson) together with all the appurtenances, to have and to hold the said tract of land with the appurtenances unto the said Richard J. Arnold his heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this 29th April 1830.

Signed by John Harn as guardian of James Dolly. James Dolly signed by mark signifying he had received the money on April 29, 1830.
Underneath the plat was a statement saying it was part of a 263-acre tract of land originally granted to John Waldron on April 12, 1791 and resurveyed at 174 acres, 112 acres of which was river swamp and 62 acres pine land.
