The undersigned haveing [sic] been appointed by the Executors of the late Mrs. Ann Pray with the consent of the heirs and legatees of said Estate, to appraise the negro property in Bryan County, do hereby certify that the following are the names and valuation affixed to all that were pointed out to the appraisers by said Executors Bryan County Feby 16th, 1837.
[NOTE: Each individual was marked according to whether they were able to act as a full field hand or in some capacity less than that. Those who were not marked are mostly under age. In at least one case (Sally/Abraham, it appears that Sally should have been marked as a full hand but the mark was mistaken placed beside Abraham, who was directly below her and was only 3 years old.]
