On November 25, 1834, Harriet King, Savannah, Chatham County, sold to Stouten Hayman, Bryan County, for $380 “a certain negro girl aged about fourteen years and named Abby with her future issue.” Witnessed by Norman W. McCleoud, Wm. [William] Harn. Harn probated this document on December 1, 1834. Recorded in Bryan County Superior Court on December 2, 1834.
