Liberty County Will — William Foster

State of Georgia,

I William Foster, of the County of Liberty in said State, do make my last will and testament as follows: I give, devise, and bequeath to my friends, Nathaniel Varnedoe, William Jones and Moses Way, all my estate, both real and personal, in trust, and to and for the only use, benefit and behoof of my wife Elizabeth Foster, and her children by me; namely, MaryAnn, Eleanor, William & Hetty Foster. And shoult either of my trustees or executors depart this life, it is my will that another should be appointed by the survivors, so as to keep up the number of three trustees or executors, so long as there shall be need of their services.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this sixth day of March in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and twenty seven.

State of Georgia, Liberty County } Jonathan Bacon, being duly sworn, deposeth and saith, that he is a subscribing witness to the within last will and testament of William Foster deceased, which he saw duly executed by the said deceased in the presence of Jesse Cooper and James C. Phelps, the other two subscribing witnesses; and that the said testator appeared at the time to be in his perfect senses.
