On February 23, 1821, John Coleman used as collateral on promissory notes totalling $203 to Catharine and Mary Feaster “a certain male slave named Dick, about forty five years of age.” Witnessed by Uriah Wilcox, John Girardeau. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on February 26, 281.
