On May 29, 1820, John Minton, of the city of Darien, and Rosena Ladson Fabian, of Sunbury, entered into a marriage contract in which they agreed to turn over to James Dunwody, as Rosena’s trustee, “all the negro property,” which she would receive when her father’s estate was divided, and any that she might receive in the future. Witnessed by William F. Ladson. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on November 20, 1821.
