Enslaved People Named: Toney
On November 4, 1821, in Chatham County, Michael Long sold to Jesse Ham for $400 “a certain male slave named Toney about thirty years of age.” Witnessed by William Brownejohn. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on January 3, 1822.
