Enslaved People Named: Sary, Nanny
On January 20, 1821, William and John O. Baker, merchants of Riceboro, Liberty County, sold to William Robarts, administrator of Thomas M. Kallender’s estate, for $500 “a negro woman Sary, and her infant child, Nanny.” Witnessed by Robert P. Burton, John Stewart. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on January 31, 1821.
