On June 29, 1819, Andrew F. Fraser, planter of Liberty County, gifted to his mother, Sarah Smylie, “my little negro girl, named Nancy.” Witnessed by Daniel F. Sullivan. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on December 21, 1820.
