On October 20, 1817, “the heirs of John Pigott, late of Liberty County, sold to Jonathan Gaulden for $400 “a negro wench named Tildia, about thirty two years of age.” Signed by Erell (?) Stogner, Nathaniel Pigot, William Scott, Judith Pigott, Rebecah Pigot, Martha Pigott. Witnessed by John Harrel, Thomas Harn [or Ham]. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on February 11, 1818.
