Enslaved People Named: Frank
On November 18, 1816, Thomas J. Mell, planter of Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note of $300 to William Anderson “a certain boy, or negro slave, aged about [left blank] years, named Frank.” Witnessed by Jos. [Joseph] Jones, Benjamin Mell. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on February 6, 1807.
