Enslaved People Named: Ansey, Linder

On April 2, 1816 in Savannah, I.S. Cohen stated that he had received $650 from Jonathan Gaulden for “a negro woman named Ansey [or Amey], and her child named Linder [alt: Linda], about five years old, the former about twenty two years os age.” Witnessed by Eleanor Mullins. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on December 7, 1816.
