Enslaved People Named: Isaac

On March 3, 1815, John S. Quarterman, Liberty County, sold to William Johnston for $300 “a negro boy by the name of Isaac, which negro I do warrant to be a smart active negro, not subject to any disease, or complaint, or runaway.” Witnessed by Samuel Lewis, Richard Quarterman. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on March 9, 1815.
