Enslaved People Named: Rhina, Sandy

On January 25, 1810 William Maxwell, planter of Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note of $458.50 to Robert and John Bolton, merchants of Savannah, “a negro wench named Rhina aged about twenty five years & a negro boy named Sandy aged about ten years.” Witnessed by John B. Habersham, John Lewis. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on January 27, 1810. Satisfaction of the mortgage was marked on the deed on March 10, 1817.
