On January 24, 1810, F. Shepard sold to Joseph Jones, of Liberty County, for $550 “two certain negroe wenches named Murriah and Dinah.” Witnessed by Jos. Wilson. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on January 29, 1810. [NOTE: F. likely stands for Francis.]
