Enslaved People Named: Sunbury, October, November, Sukey, Nancy

On September 4, 1810, Liberty County Sheriff Josiah Wilson sold to William Davies “six certain Negroes the property of the s’d [said] John Jones deceased.” Sold were Sunbury for $405, October for $310, November for $52, Sukey for $105, and Nancy for $165.  Wilson had seized them from the John Jones estate based on a writ of fieri facias obtained through a lawsuit by James D’Wolf in Liberty County Superior Court forecloaing on a mortgage from John Jones. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on September 5, 1810.
