Enslaved People Named: Warley

On July 14, 1807, John Patterson, Bourke [alt: Burke] County, sold to William Fleming, Liberty County, “a Negro man Slave named Warley  for $500. On March 11, 1808, Patterson stated before John Winn, J.I.C.L.C.  that he had received $150 from Fleming at the date of sale and had also received a promissory note from Fleming for the remaining $350. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on May 6, 1808. 

On May 9, 1808, John Patterson acknowledged receipt from William Fleming of the remaining $350. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on May 23, 1808.
