On March 16, 1805, at Manchester, McIntosh County, William Anderson, planter of Liberty County, sold for $10500 to Sarah Anderson, Liberty County, and James Nephew, planter of McIntosh County, “the following Negroes, to wit, Farmer, Peter, Beck, Celia, Damon, & Diannah, also Hannah, Daphney, Dinah, Toney, Miley, Dye [alt: Die], little Hannah, old Bob, old Tamer, little Bob, Venus, Ben, Toby, Lucy, Nanny, Tyrone, Neo, Pharoah, Sampson, Big Venus, Guine [alt: Guinea] Jack, John, old Sylvia, Pompy [alt: Pompey], George, Sam, Daniel, March, and Billy. Witnessed by John Cooper. 

On March 20, 1805, William Anderson, planter of Liberty County, sold to Sarah Anderson, spinster, for $5000 a 714-acre tract on the North Newport Swamp in Liberty County, bounded on the north by land of William Jones and Andrew Walthour, east by land of James Canty [alt: Cantey], the estate of Anderson and Doctor Le Count [alt: LeConte], on the south by John B. Girardeau and west by Thomas Quarterman, as well as a 229-acre tract originally granted to Charles West that adjoined the other tract. 

Both deed recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on March 25, 1805. 

On June 25, 1806, Sarah Anderson and James Nephew, referring to the above deeds, relinquished their title to “the said Negroe Slaves within named with issue and increase” to William Anderson in exchange for $10500.

On  the same day, Sarah Anderson in exchange for $2000 executed a quit-claim on the land named in the deed above to William Anderson. 

Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on June 27, 1806.
