On March 20, 1790, George Cubbedge, planter of Chatham County, sold to Mary Hardy, widow of the late John Hardy, “one Negroe Boy named Polydore and one Negroe Girl named Flora.” Witnessed by John Baker Junior. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on April 2, 1792.
