Enslaved Persons Named: Sarah, Diner

On August 15, 1787, Eleazar Brack, planter of Liberty County, gifted to “my loving granddaughter, Elizabeth Anderson, daughter of Elisha Anderson of the same State and County” “a little Negro Girl about Two years old known by the name of Sarah” and to “my Grandson, Elmore Anderson, son of the said Elisha Anderson” “a little Negro Girl about Two years old Known by the name of Diner [alt: Dinah], of which before the signing of these presents, I have Delivered to the said Elizabeth Anderson and Elmore Anderson the said Negroes above mentioned.” Witnessed by Elijah Anderson [as spelled]. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on February 21, 1788.
