On an unstated day, Ann Axson, Liberty County, sold to Moses L. Jones, Liberty County, for $175 “a negro girl named Amy.” Witnessed by Nathaniel Varnedoe, Q. [Quarterman] Way. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on January 26, 1831.
