On April 7, 1829, William B. Fleming, Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note of $766.73 to Ralph & William King, copartners under the firm of R & W King, of the City of Savannah, “the four following named negroes, viz. Big Chloe, Little Chloe, Fanny and Plato.” Witnessed by Jacob Cohen, John N. Lewis. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on April 13, 1829.
