On January 29, 1828, George W. Walthour, Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note of $4000 to Maxwell & King of the City of Savannah, “the following named negroes, to wit, Judy, Toby, Sandy, Minda, Rose, John, Tom, Tom, Dick, Nancy, Peggy, Cudjoe, Little Ben, Lindy, Seaboy, Little Seaboy, Louisa, Bess, Benky, B. Chloe, Simon, Aaron, Yellow Jenny, Little Dick, Jackonsy (or Jackonry).”  Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on March 10, 1828.
