Enslaved Persons Named: Titus, Hatty, Rakey, Washington

On January 17, 1828, Samuel Spencer, Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note of $232.25 to Uriah Wilcox, same place, “a male slave named Titus, & a female slave named Hatty; & her two children named Rakey & Washington.” Witnessed by Matthew Bennet. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on February 12, 1828.
