On January 16, 1828, in Savannah, Andrew Low & Co acknowledged receipt of $1719.78 as payment from William Robarts, of Riceboro in Liberty County, in full of a mortgage on “your negro named March” and “that you are at full liberty to dispose of him at pleasure.” Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on January 28, 1828.
