Enslaved Persons Named: Clarinda, Peggy
On April 26, 1827, Oliver Stevens, Liberty County, sold to Moses Jones for $350 “a female slave named Clarinda, and her child Peggy.” Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on May 2, 1827.
