On May 17, 1827, Oliver Stevens, Liberty County, sold to Elijah Baker, same place, for $325 “a certain female negro slave named Grace, about twenty years of age.” Witnessed by Geo. [George] W. Dunham. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on June 21, 1827.
