Enslaved Persons Named: Big Tom, Sally, Joe, Sylvia, Affy

On March 27, 1826, Joseph Bacon, Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note of $503.25 to Uriah Wilcox, same place, “a male slave named Big Tom, & a female slave Sally, & her son named Joe; also a female slave named Sylvia, & her daughter named Affy, together with the future increase of the females.” Witnessed by Moses Way, William Spencer. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on April 10, 1826.
