Enslaved Persons Named: Fatima, Eve, Cato

On February 17, 1825, James Holmes, Liberty County, sold to Furman R. Whitwell, same county, for $700 “a negro slave called Fatima and her two children Eve and Cato.” Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on February 24, 1825.
