Enslaved Persons Named: Clarissa
On April 12, 1824, James Holmes, Liberty County, sold to Furman R. Whitwell, same county, for $200 “the following property, viz. a negro girl called Clarissa.” Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on February 24, 1825.
