Walthour “the following named Slaves with the issue of the females (viz) Joe, Will, Abram, Hamsheir [alt: Hampshire], Jack, Little Jack, Jenney [alt: Jinny], Sharper, William, Big Chloe, Little Chloe, Louisa, Rhina, Doll, Teanor [alt: Tenah], Toney [alt: Tony], Betty, Leah fellow Hannah, Little Hannah, Henry, Elisa, Lucy Ann Henry Stepney Little Joe, Toney, Flora, Harriett, Rachell, Anthoney [alt: Anthony], Peggy…” Witnessed by Oliver W. Stevens, G.D. Beckwith. G.D. Beckwith probated the deed on July 15, 1837. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on July 18, 1837. [NOTE: Marked as satisfied in full as of January 27, 1866 by W. L. Walthour, the administrator for George W. Walthour’s estate. Satisfaction recorded on April 21, 1866.]
