On March 7, 1837, Augustus O. Bacon, Liberty County, sold to James S. Bulloch, administrator of John Elliott’s estate, “the following nine negro slaves viz. Affey [alt: Affee], Charlotte, Muney, Jacob, John Crawford, Affee Jr, Corene [alt: Corinne], and Amanda…” Witnessed by A.T. Bacon. Attorney E.H. Bacon signed for Augustus O. Bacon. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on March 17, 1837.
