Fleming, Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note of $6000 to Raymond Haris [alt: Harris] “the following named Slaves, with the issue of the females (to wit) Hetty, Sarah, Amey [alt: Amy], Rose, Hannah, Yellow Hannah, Little Jack, Hampshire, Henry, Elisa, Doll and Abram and Peggy…” Witnessed by A.T. Bacon, James Smily [alt: Smiley] Jr, E.H. Bacon. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on May 25, 1835. [NOTE: Marked as satisfied in full as of April 1, 1837. Satisfaction recorded on June 1, 1838.]
