Enslaved Persons Named: Sary, Alley

On July 6, 1835, Jordan Ryals, McIntosh County, sold to William Hope Sr., Liberty County, for $500 “two certain female slaves namely Sary & her child Alley.” Ryals noted that he had purchased these women from Josiah David of McIntosh County. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on July 6, 1835.
