On February 10, 1832, David A. Miller, planter of Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note of $296.47 to Uriah Wilcox, trader of Liberty County, “three certain female slaves, named Lily, Harriet & Sarah, together with their future issue & increase.” Witnessed by R.S. Leonard. Recorded on February 13, 1832.
