Enslaved Persons Named: Jack

On February 17, 1832, the personal property of Jacob Harnage, deceased, was sold at public auction, on credit until the following January 1st. Most of the property was in the form of stock and plantation items, but included was the hire “of negro man named Jack” by David Allen for $68.
