On June 4, 1832, Nathaniel Law, of Liberty County, sold to James S. Bradwell “two negro slaves, viz. Joe and William.” For the price, Law stated only “for value received.” Witnessed by Alexander M. McIver. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on June 7, 1832.
