Comments: “The following negroes were pointed out to us, the undersigned, by James S. Bulloch as belonging to the following children under the will of the late Capt. John Whitehead, viz. Miss Caroline M. Elliott deceased, Jane E. Elliott, Corinne L. Elliott, Susan A. Elliott, with a request that we would appraise & divide them equally, and he would then put the proportion awarded to the late Miss E.M. Elliott as belonging, in consequence of her decease, into the estate of J. Elliott.”
