Enslaved Persons Named: Louisa, Frank, Emma

On April 18, 1844, B.W. Allen sold to A.C. Dunham for $385 “all my interest right and claim in and to the following named negro slaves it being one half interest in said negroes held jointly with the said A.C. Dunham viz Louisa and her two children Frank and Emma.” The deed stated that Allen and Dunham did business together under the name “Dunham & Allen.” Witnessed by J.W.A. Fennel, G.W. Dunham, J.I.C.L.C. Recorded on May 3, 1844, by J.S. Bradwell, Clerk.
