On March 7, 1843, Mary Dunham, Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note of $1224.53 to Daniel McDonald, Glynn County planter, “the following negro slaves to wit, March, Jenny, Isaac, Rosannah & London.” Witnessed by Mary Jane Dunham, G.W. Dunham. Probated by Geo. [George] W. Dunham on March 7, 1843, before T.W. Quarterman, J.P.L.C. Recorded on March 14, 1843, by E. Way, Clerk.
