On December 17, 1842, Eli Bradly [alt: Bradley], Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note of $338 to John S. Bradley, also of Liberty County, “one female Slave named Amy about twenty three years old & her child Sarah about 2 years old…” Witnessed by Little Berry Daniel, Robert Hendry. Recorded on January 9, 1843, by E. Way, Clerk.
