On July 6, 1850, Sabina J. Moody, wife of the late George F. Moody and administrator of his esatte with Manning J. Moody, acknowledged receipt of “the following property to wit one negro woman named Daphne and her four children Monday Boston Nelly and Patience and one tract of land situated in Tattnall County containing two hundred & twenty five acres…[NOTE: additional property described]. [NOTE: Deed was written in Tattnall County but recorded in Liberty County on April 16, 1851, by J.S. Bradwell, Clerk.]
