Enslaved Persons Named: Shingleton

On January 7, 1850, George S. Carswell sold to Edward J. Delegal, both of Liberty County, for $250 “the undivided half of a certain negro man Slave named Shingleton…” Witnessed by C.S. Mallard, H.H. Delegal, W.G. Thomson. Recorded by J.S. Bradwell, Clk, on March 27, 1850.
