On February 10, 1848, Thomas B. Coleman, of New Haven, Connecticut, appointed John Coleman, Liberty County, his attorney with authorization to sell “my three several negro slaves named Rachel Adam and Delia being all the slaves set to me from the estate of my deceased mother Sarah Coleman.” Witnessed by Lucius G. Peck, of New Haven County, Connecticut. Recorded on March 20, 1849, by J.S. Bradwell, Clk.
