On October 2, 1857,  I.S.K. Axson, Greene County, sold to Thomas W. Fleming, Liberty County, for $2200 “the following named negro slaves to wit: Abby, Cyrus, Betsey, William, Joe, Louisa and Phillis with the issue of the females…” Witnessed by O.P. Daniel, J.W. Cawthon, W.S. Johnson, J.I.C. Recorded on January 2, 1858, by S.A. Fraser, Clerk.
