On March 2, 1857, Jacob Waldburg, of Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia, as administrator of the will of the late George M. Waldburg, of the same city, count, and state, released to Jacob Waldburg [see note below], as an heir based on Waldburg’s March 29, 1855, will, certain property in Savannah (Chatham County) and Liberty County’s Saint Catherine’s Island, company stock, promissory notes, and “also the following negro slaves to wit Anthony, Cessar [alt: Caesar], Jonas, Eliza, Sarah, Barber, Isaac, Mary, Evans, Catherine, Grace, Jane, Sam, Susanna, Sarah, Fanny, Cinda, Abby, Andrew, Pussey, Ishmeal [alt: Ishmael], Tinah [alt: Tenah], Lewis, Dick, Mary, Tinny, William, Sylla, George, Daniel, Doll, July, Phillis, Sam, Jane, Catto [alt: Cato], Nanny, ?
