On February 7, 1854, James Hunter, trustee, sold to Gideon B. Dean, trustee for Sarah E. Handley, for $1060 “a negro woman named Peggy aged about twenty eight years and her child Alice about five years, and an infant boy Samuel four months with their future increase.”  Witnessed by ?G? Walsh Not. Pub. Recorded on February 20, 1855, by S.A. Fraser, Clerk.
